Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer, has refuted claims that his presidency would enable Fulani herdsmen to damage farmlands.
He described these claims as propaganda by the National Democratic Congress (NDC), alleging that the opposition is spreading fears that voting for him would encourage lawlessness among the Fulbe people, who are his in-laws.
While campaigning in Ejura Sekyedumase on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, Dr Bawumia assured constituents that, under his leadership, Ghana’s laws would be applied equally and fairly to all citizens, regardless of background.
