Assin North Deserves Better, Vote NPP – NAPO

Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the running mate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has appealed to the people of Assin North Constituency to vote for the NPP parliamentary candidate, Hon. Charles Opoku, to bring development to the area.

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has neglected Assin North, and it’s time for the constituency to benefit from the NPP’s initiatives, such as the “One District, One Factory” program.
He made this statement during an engagement with chiefs, Imams, and the clergy at Assin Praso in the Assin North Constituency of the Central Region.

He urged traditional leaders to remember the NPP in their prayers, emphasizing the party’s commitment to developing Assin North. Dr. Prempeh was accompanied by notable NPP figures, including the member of Parliament for Assin Central, Hon. Kennedy Ohene Agyapong.
Dr. Napo also highlighted the NPP’s achievements in the education sector, including the free SHS policy, which has benefited many students in Assin North. He assured the people that the NPP will continue to invest in education and healthcare, ensuring a brighter future for the younger generation.
Additionally, Dr. Prempeh promised that the NPP will create more job opportunities and support local businesses to stimulate economic growth in the area.
Hon. Kennedy Ohene Agyapong cautioned the people of Assin North not to ignore the NPP’s message, as they did in the 2020 election.
He emphasized that the NPP has a proven track record of delivering on its promises and urged the constituents to give them another chance to serve.
He also highlighted the importance of voting for a party that prioritizes development and progress, rather than one that only makes empty promises.
Furthermore, Hon. Agyapong assured the people that the NPP will address their concerns and work tirelessly to improve their living standards.
Stephen Asamoah Boateng, Minister for Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs, also appealed to the people to help break the cycle of changing governments every eight years, which he believes hinders the country’s development.
He urged them to allow the NPP to continue managing the country’s affairs.

Nana Asiedu Appau, Assin Akonfudi Kyidomhene, acknowledged the NPP’s development projects in the constituency, including the Assin Fosu-Praso road, Agenda 111 at Assin Breku, security opportunities, and an AstroTurf in Assin Breku.
However, he noted that more needs to be done, citing the need for additional road projects.
The NPP’s campaign tour aims to secure votes for Hon. Charles Opoku and the NPP in the upcoming December 7th general election.
