No Truth to NAPO’s Illness Rumors: Justin Kodua Confirms

The General Secretary of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Justin Kodua Frimpong, has dismissed reports that Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, popularly known as NAPO, is seriously sick.

According to Mr. Frimpong, the rumors are baseless and aimed at scoring cheap political points.

In an interview with journalists on Monday September 9,2024 , Mr. Frimpong described Dr. Prempeh as “very fit” and focused on his campaign tour to ensure the NPP’s victory in the 2024 polls.

He emphasized that the party’s leadership is committed to delivering on its promises to Ghanaians and will not be distracted by false reports.

Mr. Frimpong attributed the rumors to the NPP’s political opponents, who he believes are desperate to tarnish the image of the party’s leadership.

He urged the public to disregard any reports of NAPO’s illness, describing them as “malicious” and “unfounded.”

The NPP General Secretary’s comments comes at a time when the party is intensifying its campaign efforts ahead of the 2024 elections.

With NAPO being a key figure in the party’s campaign, the rumors of his illness had sparked concerns among party supporters.
