Avoid skirt and blouse voting – Mahama counsels Assin South voters

Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, has urged party supporters to avoid voting “skirt and blouse” in the upcoming December elections.

He emphasised the importance of voting for both the NDC’s presidential and parliamentary candidates to ensure a unified government.

During a mini rally at Assin Andoe in the Assin South Constituency of the Central Region, Mahama stressed that electing NDC parliamentary candidates Stephan Kofi Baidoo alongside the presidential candidate is essential for securing a majority in Parliament and advancing the party’s national development agenda.

Mahama attributed the party’s previous election loss to disunity and appealed to supporters to vote for both the parliamentary and presidential candidates.

Stephen Kofi Baidoo stands out as exceptionally qualified compared to other candidates on the ballot, so consider voting for him instead of smaller parties,” John Mahama said

He said, “We did not win the previous election because of disunity. I have also heard that most of you would vote ‘skirt and blouse.’ I plead with you all to vote for the PC and me. We need development in Assin South.”
