Ibrahim Mahama Supports Xenophobia Victim with New Business Opportunity

Ghanaian business magnate, Engineers & Planners CEO Mr. Ibrahim Mahama, has extended a major lifeline to Emmanuel Asamoah, a Ghanaian who reportedly became a victim of xenophobic attacks in South Africa.
The intervention comes just days after Mr. Mahama assured Ghana’s Minister for Foreign Affairs of his readiness to support Ghanaians affected by the unfortunate incidents in South Africa.

At a meeting held in his office, which was attended by Ghana’s High Commissioner to South Africa, Mr. Ibrahim Mahama revealed plans to establish a cement distribution and construction hardware depot for Emmanuel Asamoah as part of efforts to help him rebuild his life back home.
Speaking during the meeting, Mr. Mahama passionately appealed to Ghanaians living in South Africa and other foreign countries to consider returning home to contribute meaningfully to Ghana’s development. According to him, there are numerous employment and business opportunities available in the country, especially for hardworking youth with various skills and talents.

He further encouraged Ghanaians facing difficulties abroad to return home, learn a trade, or venture into business, assuring them of his willingness to support genuine efforts aimed at self-development and economic empowerment.
In a remarkable gesture of kindness, Mr. Ibrahim Mahama presented Emmanuel Asamoah with an amount of GH¢200,000 to enable him take a one-month break to reunite with his family before relocating to Accra to begin his new hardware business venture.

Emmanuel Asamoah, who previously operated nails and hairdressing businesses in South Africa, voluntarily chose to transition into the construction hardware business as part of his fresh start in Ghana.
Mr. Ibrahim Mahama also commended Ghana’s High Commissioner to South Africa for his dedication and commitment to the welfare and safety of Ghanaians living in the country.
He finally advised Emmanuel Asamoah to remain strong, disciplined, and focused as he begins a new chapter of his life and entrepreneurial journey in Ghana.
