I Am Committed to Delivering on My Mandate as MCE – Adam Gariba

Story By: William Mintah Hayford | Assin Foso

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for the Assin Central Municipality, Hon. Adam Gariba, has reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to delivering on the mandate entrusted to him.

According to him, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) government made a firm pledge to reset the country, and Assin Foso will not be left out of that national transformation agenda. He emphasized that under his leadership, the Assembly is actively implementing key development projects aimed at improving the living conditions of residents.

Hon. Gariba outlined several ongoing and completed initiatives, including the construction of mechanized boreholes to improve access to potable water, the building of school blocks to enhance education infrastructure, and the establishment of CHPS compounds to strengthen healthcare delivery within the municipality.

He further assured residents that the persistent challenge of poor inner roads—one of the major concerns in the municipality—will be addressed to bring lasting relief to the people and facilitate economic activity.

Responding to a recent 5% performance rating allegedly given by some elements within his party, the MCE described the assessment as a calculated attempt to undermine his office. He suggested that the rating stems from individuals who did not support his appointment and are seeking to sabotage his administration.

Hon. Adam Gariba therefore called on party supporters to put aside internal acrimony and work together in unity, stressing that cohesion within the party is crucial as preparations begin toward the 2028 general elections.

He reiterated his dedication to transparency, development, and inclusive leadership for the progress of Assin Central.
