The Central Regional Coordinating Council (CRCC) is set to host the highly anticipated Central Expo 2025, a week-long event designed to showcase the region’s vast trade, tourism, and investment opportunities to the world. The expo, themed “Unlocking Business Opportunities in the Central Region,” will take place from August 23 to 31 at the Adisadel school park.

Vice President Professor Jane Nana Opoku-Agyemang will officially open the fair on Monday, August 25. The event aims to attract thousands of exhibitors and investors, providing a platform for stakeholders to explore creative ideas, partnerships, and networking opportunities.

The Central Regional Minister, Mr. Ekow Panyin Okyere Eduamoah, has expressed his commitment to transforming the region into a hub of innovation, productivity, and sustainable development. He rejected the label of poverty associated with the region and urged the people to rise and take charge of their future with renewed vigor and determination.

The expo will feature a range of activities, including a flagship women and youth in business empowerment forum, free health screening, children’s playground, and evening entertainment and music cultural nights. A cooking competition and local food festival will also be part of the event.

The Central Expo 2025 is a strategic initiative aligned with the CRCC’s Regional Development Strategy and Transformative Agenda. It is expected to promote domestic tourism, attract private sector investments, create employment opportunities, and empower youth entrepreneurship.

The President of the Central Regional House of Chiefs, Odeefo Amoakwa Boadu VIII, has charged the people to harness trade opportunities in the region. He encouraged investors to explore the region’s promising sectors, including agriculture, tourism, and industry, which are ripe for development.

The expo is being organized in collaboration with the Central Region Development Commission (CEDECOM), the Central Regional House of Chiefs, and all 22 Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Assemblies. This partnership will ensure broad-based participation and coordination across the region’s administrative and traditional leadership structures.

The Central Expo 2025 promises to be a game-changer for the region’s economic development, providing a platform for stakeholders to come together and shape the future of the Central Region. Don’t miss this opportunity to be part of something big!
