Assin South District, March 6, 2025 – Hon. Rev. John Ntim Fordjour, Member of Parliament for Assin South District, has urged the government to complete all uncompleted projects in the district.
This call to action was made during the 68th Independence Day Celebration, held in Assin South District. The event, which was attended by dignitaries, traditional leaders, and citizens, was marked with pomp and pageantry.
The celebration was held under the theme “Reflect, Review and Reset”, which encourages citizens to reflect on the country’s progress, review its challenges, and reset its agenda for a brighter future.
In his address, Hon. Rev. Fordjour emphasized the importance of completing these projects to drive progress and development in the district. He noted that the completion of these projects would have a significant impact on the lives of citizens, particularly in the areas of healthcare and education.
“We need to complete these projects to improve the lives of our citizens,” Hon. Rev. Fordjour said. “The Agenda 111 project, for example, will provide our citizens with access to quality healthcare, while the STEM School will provide our children with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in the modern world.”
He also announced that he has initiated the process for the construction of a fire station in the district. “I am pleased to inform you that the process for the construction of a fire station in our district has begun,” Hon. Rev. Fordjour said.
The MP’s call for completion of projects aligns with the theme of this year’s 68th Independence Day Celebration. As a seasoned politician and Former Deputy Minister of Education, Hon. Rev. Fordjour has consistently advocated for the development of Assin South District. His commitment to the district’s progress is evident in his efforts to promote education, infrastructure development, and economic growth.
