Customary Lands Secretariat Inaugurated at Abura State

On April 23, 2025, the Office of the Administrator of Stool Lands, Cape Coast, officially commissioned a Customary Lands Secretariat office at Abakrampa, serving the Abura Traditional Council.
The ceremony, held at the Abrankor Stool Palace, brought together Nananom and experts to discuss the Land Act and other critical land-related issues, including dispute resolution mechanisms.

The launch of the Customary Lands Secretariat aligns with the vision of His Royal Majesty Eminintsinminim Otu XI, Omanhen of Abura State, to peacefully resolve land disputes and establish structures for future generations.
Mr. Isaac Oppong, Head of the Office of the Administrator of Stool Lands in Cape Coast, encouraged Nananom and committee members to continue protecting Abura lands for posterity.
This initiative underscores the commitment to effective land management and dispute resolution within the Abura Traditional Area.
