The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has set July 27, 2024, as the date to officially kick off its campaign for the 2024 election.
The announcement was made by the party’s flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, during the ‘Get Fit and Ready Mahama Walk’ in Accra on July 20, 2024.
Mahama revealed that the campaign will tour various regions across the country, leading up to the 2024 polls.
He emphasized the need for collective effort and urged party members to actively participate in the campaign.
“The campaign is for every one of us,” Mahama said. “We must work together to win more votes. Wear your T-shirts, distribute leaflets, and spread the NDC message to your neighbors.”
Mahama also stressed the importance of vigilance on election day, urging party agents and executives to stay vigilant until results are declared to prevent any potential irregularities and ensure a fair and transparent electoral process.
